Building a new home should be one of the greatest pleasures that a homeowner can experience.  For many people the pathway for undertaking this enterprise is at best vague. At Atlantic Homes we have created a process that makes home building easy and straightforward. Below is an outline that will help you understand our pathway to new home building and ownership.

Initial Contact-  A "get to know each other" meeting where we discuss your project, budget, timeline and expectations.

Second Meeting- During this meeting we will discuss your specific needs, desires and plan design requirements. We will also discuss our company operations, contractual arrangements and warranty services.

Plan Design and Development- Now the fun starts...we help you put your dreams on paper! We will work together with you and the designers to assure your project meets the highest standards.

Cost Estimating- In accordance with your specifications and in coordination with our subcontractors, we will develop a cost estimate for your project. This phase provides you an opportunity to "fine tune" your budget.

Construction Documentation- We will develop a complete set of specifications and cost breakdowns for your use with financial institutions. In addition, we will review with you all specifications and selections for your approval. And don't forget the Atlantic Homes Guarantee...Once the contract and specifications are signed the price doesn't change! (Of course this will never preclude you the opportunity to add additional features during the construction process if feasible.)

Construction- Here we bring your dreams to reality.  We encourage you to view the construction of your new home and will schedule a walk-through for you prior to installing drywall to ensure that your home meets your specifications.  We will also offer you the ability to monitor your project over the internet.

Project Closeout- After completion.  We will schedule another walk-through of your home where we will prepare an owner's list of items that will be completed prior to occupancy. We will also prepare a comprehensive homeowners manual including our warranty procedures and signature service.
